Our clinic has been using a "bloodless" surgical technique since the late 90's developed by Dr Eng Peng Tan, a renowned and well-respected Sydney Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon. This has now been acquired by his protege Dr Zion Chan. Dr Tebbetts, an American Plastic Surgeon, described a similar technique in the literature in early 2000.

Dr Chan prefers twilight sedation as it offers ideal operative conditions and faster recovery for patients.
Twilight Sedation
Twilight sedation is administered by an experienced specialist consultant anaesthetist. Sedation uses less anaesthetic drugs which enables a faster recovery time and has less complications
and side effects. It also enables the patient to be discharged on the same day. We have overwhelmingly positive feedback from our patients on their twilight anaesthetic experience.
